Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Washita Ginza Okinawa for its authentic selection of Okinawan products, especially the delicious food items and the unique Miyakojima snow salt. The presence of Blue Seal ice cream and a small dining area offering Okinawan specialties are also highlights. Some visitors note that fresh produce availability can be inconsistent.

"Great shop with Okinawan products. Most items are food related but the store also has soaps, skincare (hand lotions and masks), basketball team gear, and small souvenirs. The most interesting item (to me) was the Miyakojima “snow salt” - it is very good and tasty!"

Anthony Kit

"Lots of Okinawan foods! Even fresh veggies and fruits. Peanuts tofu, pork meat, teas, awamori alcohol, etc ..amazing. No need to travel to Okinawa...haha."

zara k-tai

"Grab your Okinawa goodies from this shop! I was able to get Okinawa brown sugar which is great for making “karinto” and “Yuki-shio” (snow salt) which is super fine powder salt but has it’s own natural flavour.

“Beni-imo” tart which I’ve only ever seen in Okinawa are also available here.

Was hoping to get some fresh “umi-budo” but apparently they only receive shipment on certain days. (They did have some packaged in a pouch in water though.)

Also got some “chinsuko”, Okinawa shortbread which is nice too.

Lots of other snacks and food from the island. Highly recommend if you can’t get to Okinawa."
