This beautiful loft is located in Hakozaki Fukuoka. Located near a major historical shrine and about a eight minute walk to the subway. This is a very quite neighborhood but still with many mom and pop shops #ja#japana#japanesea#japanlifei#livinginjapano#movingtojapanv#jvloga#japanvlogi#lifeinjapana#hakatau#fukuokay#fypr#trendingi#virala#japaneseapartmenta#japanesehomek#akiya

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Hakozaki Shrine for its peaceful atmosphere, historical significance, and beautiful grounds, especially during the hydrangea season. While generally free to access, some find festival stalls overpriced and note the importance of respecting photography rules during ceremonies. The shrine is easily accessible and offers a serene escape within Fukuoka.

"Nestled in a residential area is this bustling shrine with a large ground. There are restaurants and cafes opposite the shrine and sometimes you can see the planes overhead. Handwritten Goshuin available."

Michelle Yeung

"A very peaceful and amazing historical landmark in Fukuoka to visit. The shrine is very beautiful and mesmerizing.

Easy to access via the train rail station near by and it is free to walk the grounds."

Anthony Plaxen

"This is an interesting and beautiful shrine but my visit was distinguished, in particular, by a hydrangea festival. I was fortunate to arrive early enough in the season to avoid the crowds and to benefit from the 100 yen entrance fee as opposed to the 300 yen that it will soon cost (this is May 26, 2024), but just after a rainstorm had cleared and just as the hydrangea were shifting from budding to blooming. Therefore, there were very few people, the lighting was great for taking photos and the flowers were not yet in full bloom, allowing for a more subtle experience of their beauty."
