"Found a moment of pure magic and tranquility at Fukushima Gokoku Shrine. It's my first time seeing Red Spider Lilies (Higanbana) in person, and wow, they're breathtaking—so vibrant and delicate against the solemn stone. Feeling a deep sense of peace."

"I recommend stopping by if you’re headed up Mt. Shinobu. The parking lot detracts from the surrounding ambience, but it makes for easy access (and worthwhile stop/detour) if you’re driving up to the observatory points."

"Gokoku Shrine is located at the foot of Mt. Shinobu, 2km from Fukushima Station.
Unfortunately, it was raining and a weekday, so there were hardly any people around.
It's a beautiful shrine. There are various facilities, but the red enclosure seems to be a place for praying for cars. As you walk along the stone pavement, you will come across a gate with a rolled up rope in the middle of the passage. There are instructions on how to pass through the gate.
Follow the instructions and go around to the shrine grounds.
The grounds and buildings are very clean and well-cleaned.
After passing through the rope gate, the building on the right is the shrine office, where a man will assist you.
Under the eaves of the building on the left, various lucky charms such as amulets and mini emas are sold.
It is an unmanned store and you can purchase them for around 100 to 500 yen.
I apologize to the priest. I realized after taking the photo that photography is prohibited inside the shrine grounds. Please forgive me."
