"Came here on Sat, Nov 2, 2024, for a free Momi-G Festival, which starts from 4pm to 9pm. I arrived at about 5.30 pm and had to wait for 20 mins for the car park. When I left, the queue for parking was even longer.
The park did not disappoint. The lit-up section is quite small, but it was still pretty. If you plan to come and wish to drive, come earlier. I read that the illumination will be on until 10 November 2024."

"The best place to see fall foliage in Hakodate. The park is not large but packed with vibrant colors during autumn. Red and yellow maple leaves hung over on tree branches and fallen ones blanketed ground like a colorful carpet. There is also a small hut featuring traditional Japanese garden with mini pond and stepping stone covering with moss. The colorful trees are lit up at night, illuminating red and yellow leaves on dark night sky gave viewers a different and chilling experience. Make sure to try one when you are in town during late October to early November."
