Any beaches worth visit at Hiroshima??
We are in our last part of our trip and I was wondering to add an extra day in Hiroshima to visit some beach and swim in the sea. Do you have any recommendations for a spot where we can spend a day swimming near Hiroshima?
Camping at the Tsusumigaura Nature Park in Miyajima
Has anyone had any experience camping at the Tsusumigaura Nature Park in Miyajima? My partner and I would love to camp there for a couple of nights to check out the island and hike up Mount Misen. Also how did you go in terms of transportation to and around the island?

Relax in a beach near Hiroshima miyajima?
We would like to have a 2 or 3 days of relaxation in a beach/sea in Hiroshima zone, at the beginning of august. We will come from Kyoto and have to back to Tokyo. We are used to relax in a sand beach, with umbrella and have a swim, if the water is not too cold... I had some…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tsutsumigaura Beach is praised for its beautiful, clear waters and serene, uncrowded atmosphere, offering a peaceful escape. However, visitors should be aware that facilities are seasonal, and the sand is rocky. Some reviews mention occasional debris, but the overall sentiment highlights its tranquil charm and scenic views.
"Beautiful beach, nice, clear water. Rocky sand but no water shoes needed. I went in mid to late July and technically the beach was closed and all facilities were shut down, therefore I reduced the number of stars. But a handful of people got in the water and stayed where it is shallow. The water was a comfortable temperature. Foam from the fishing boats washes up, but mostly clean otherwise. Took me about 45 minutes to walk there from the ferry port, nice easy walk."

"A nice and quiet place. You would need to dedicate some extra hours if you want to go there when visiting the island."
Mihail Paskov
"It’s a beautiful beach with no one in all the beach. The problem is that there are some sign that says that is not allowed swimming there"
