"Wonderful shrines and statues, we almost didn't go because it was close to closing but I'm so glad we did. Even just an hour here is worth your time and the old couple running the shop were very nice to still serve us ice cream 20mins before closing, delicious btw and we got to eat it while waiting for the bus. We bought a tiger themed omomori and prayed at some of the stations, donated at all the ones we passed. Very beautiful space"

"Amazing temple, very low foot traffic when we went mid day on a Monday. So glad we took the day off work and came here, it was well worth the trip from Tokyo to see. Incredibly peaceful and the autumn colors and breeze made for an extra special trip.
Now (early November) through December 2025 there is a special Osaka Hanshin Tigers goshuin only available in the main temple at the very top."

"We spent a night at this temple, and it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast, as well as a beautiful ceremony with the monks. Staying overnight lets you experience the temple in total quiet and witness both sunrise and sunset. I highly recommend this place for its beauty and unique cultural experience."
