What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Piole Himeji is highly praised for its direct connection to Himeji Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. Visitors appreciate the wide variety of dining options, especially in the basement level, and the clean, modern shopping environment. While some wish for more unique local vendors, it remains a popular spot for last-minute souvenir shopping and a pleasant evening stroll.
"This is a huge shopping mall located just next to the station and you can enter the building after exiting from the train station, very convenient and accessible. This is just like Daimaru at Osaka Station.
There are lots to see, shop and eat (eateries/restaurants mostly at the basement). But somehow it's more mid/upper range and so prices are generally higher and mostly are lifestyle items like fashion, bags and shoes etc.
On the day of our visit, it was way past 8pm and the place seemed quite empty but we had a good peace of mind doing our windows shopping.
No harm visiting it to see see walk walk since you will not miss it if you are riding on the train to/from here!"

"A center of commerce attached to the Himeji Station with a lot of stores for clothes, shoes, food, coffee, etc. Clean environment, well maintained."
Lorraine Shaughnessy
"It's great, but there were some really great shops in the old Forus & Yamatoyashiki which I wish had transferred to Piole, now they're just gone. I love that little Himeji wants to grow big, just don't lose the small vendors that make Himeji unique."
