"Bathing on August 11, 2025

After descending from Mt. Iwaki, I visited Happy Hyakuzawa Onsen for a day trip.
The unique atmosphere both inside and outside the facility made me feel a little uneasy, to be honest.
I'm not sure if "happy" is the right word, but the colorful atmosphere from the entrance made it feel a little unsettling.
However, once I entered the bathroom, I found it to be a traditional hot spring.
The shower head was fixed and difficult to position while sitting, making it difficult to use, but it was a new type of showerhead I'd never seen before and it was interesting.
Well, the entire bathroom has an old-fashioned feel, so the inconvenience was forgivable.
The water was hot, and the spring water poured in vigorously.
The clear, lukewarm water was a carbonated spring with plenty of bubbles, which was very pleasant.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own.
The lukewarm bathtub is small and there is no open-air bath, which is a shame, so I'll give it three stars."
