What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Satomi Park is a beloved local oasis, praised for its free entry, beautiful rose garden, and scenic river views. Families appreciate the playground, and the free BBQ spots are a major draw, though visitors must bring all their own supplies. The main drawback is the prevalence of mosquitoes, especially near water, making repellent a must-have.
"Easy accessible by bike and parking also available near the river. There are disabled parking available next to the bike parking. Park has playground, several toilets, shop with drinks and snacks. Don't forget to bring mosquito repellent as they'll devour you. Especially near the ponds. Worth bringing the little ones for a couple of hours of fun in the nature."

"Came across this park just by chance and so happy we did. It's an oasis especially during these hot days. The park is really popular with local people, particularly families although it's enjoyed by everyone. Despite it's popularity it's big enough not to feel crowded. A space for BBQs, picnics and places just to be surrounded by trees and nature and the occasional sound of water. The park is close to the river but we didn't have time to walk along the bank but hopefully we will return very soon. Definitely worth visiting and a great place to escape the usual noises and smells of the city."

"It's a beautiful park. It has history, a Rose garden with fountains, views of Tokyo and the Edo River, a poet's historical home, a few places for kids to play in nature, plus a playground. We didn't find the ruins, but it was a nice walk in an interesting park."
