Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Tsutsukihama Beach's stunningly clear waters and soft white sand, calling it a favorite on Iki Island. The tranquil atmosphere in the off-season is a major draw, though some note the beach becomes a lively 'party beach' in peak summer. Amenities are seasonal, and proximity to the airport is a unique feature.

"Went here on May 18th. It was sunny and the temperature was 20°C, but not that high for swimming, so the beach was empty. The sand was very soft, and the water was crystal clear. There’s a parking lot and a bathroom also. Since May is not a peak season here, there’s no café or food bar, but they will open between July and August. Though, I still prefer this quiet and empty vibe. The beach lies next to Iki Airport, so sometimes you will hear the jet engines roaring."

"Water is super clear and beautiful! Sand is nice, there are some shady areas. Stalls, tables, floaty devices and boats available for hire. It was quiet when we came because of Corona but I have heard that it's usually really busy. More of a party beach than a relaxing beach. Great view. Jet skis cruising around. Has public toilets. Plenty of free parking. Vending machines near the parking area."
