"Charming nature center with live otter feedings! Staff were courteous and helpful, despite our very bad Japanese. It was a great break on a very busy trip, we really enjoyed the exhibit showing the different localities of all the salamanders. They don't have tropical stuff, it's more focused around local nature but that's almost more interesting. They have a kids play area and a nice gift shop as well."

"It’s a great aquarium. It’s small, but there’s a good variety of birds, amphibians, fishes, and bugs. Many animals are in large exhibits with a lot of enrichment in their environments. The otter feeding was so cute! And the staff are very kind, too. If you’re looking for a traditional aquarium, the branch in Iwaki has the complete experience, but if you’re looking for something to do nearby Inawashiro, I can’t recommend it enough!"
