Two of the men were beheaded and the third was tortured and used for bayonet practice, all in violation of international human rights law and the law of war. There are other movements on the site. Most are in Japanese only.
The one with the tribute to 3 Americans who died is in English. It was really heartfelt to read about the history. You realize how far the WWII was felt on all the islands and why the Japanese strove for world peace.
Free. Parking on the side. Has bathrooms on site."
