"No major complaints here. I got what I asked for and that was mainly to have a room in a more quiet part of the hotel. There’s a sign about hotel maintenance going on but it’s during hours you should be out and about and not during standard sleeping hours like a normal operating hotel should do.
I’ve stayed at hotels at other airports before and was expecting to hear some kind of low rumble from nearby planes landing and taking off but I couldn’t hear a thing. I’m a light sleeper so the quietness of the room was great.
The room was a lot more spacious than I expected. It’s about as roomy as a midtier hotel and not as cramped as a standard Japanese business hotel. They could fit a couch in the room but they kept the area by the windows open which is a good touch.
WiFi was excellent no issues there. Shower pressure was definitely better than I expected. It’s not strong enough for a decent shower massage but it’s better than a slow trickle like I’ve experienced at other hotels.
Air conditioner was basic. No fancy remote just a few controls on the wall in English and Japanese. Whatever they’ve installed is pretty darn quiet. There’s no low roar for the AC to get started and no loud clunk when it shuts off. I don’t even know when it shuts off honestly.
Check in staff were nice and quick with getting my room key setup. The hotel is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary and if you signed up for their membership program you get options for one of two drinks or you can choose from other convenient goods and souvenirs.
The location is great. If you’ve been to this airport before it’s literally just across the sky bridges as soon as you get out from the 2nd floor of the airport and then past the subway station entrance.
What I wasn’t super completely a fan of was the bed and pillows. I’m used to softer options but the room TV did mention you can request other pillow types for free. Next time I’ll request that when making the reservation online.
I happened to consider this hotel when the prices were under $100 but just like with any other hotel as I came closer to my reservation date I noticed the price does jump up a bit so book early if you’re seriously considering staying here.
I think it’s a great value honestly. If you need to wind down and don’t want to make a huge trek from downtown Osaka to the airport, seriously consider staying here especially if you have any older friends or relatives in your group. Checkout is at 11 and Rinku town is nearby if you want to do any last minute shopping."
