What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Michi no Eki Kadena for its dual appeal: thrilling views of Kadena Air Base's fighter jets and a vibrant food court offering diverse local and international flavors. It's considered a highly recommended, free attraction for plane enthusiasts and families alike, though some note the exhibition information is primarily in Japanese.
"Not much of a plane spotter, but do love a good jet. As it turns out, this is an epic spot! Plenty of spectators make for an exciting atmosphere with ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ as the many types of aircraft come and go. Free to enter, several foodaries downstairs and a small exhibit inside. If you’re here like me to see the jets, they were constantly coming and going in the afternoon. Ended up staying for over an hour watching the action."
Life's Abroad

"Like this place very much, can get foods, quick bites, ice-cream here, a food court and supermarket here too, most importantly can get a view of the US airbase opposite and fighter jets taking on and also their practicing.
Highly recommended!!"
