What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Akamizu Observatory Square for its stunning, unobstructed views of Kinko Bay and Kagoshima city, calling the landscape awesome and well-preserved. The unique statue adds a memorable touch. However, some find access challenging without a car or specific tour bus, and a few note there isn't much else to see beyond the view and statue.
"Took the island view bus(not sure about the exact name of bus) that stops at some view spots. To be honest, it's quite difficult to visit these touristic spots without driving own car or this tour bus. In my case, I used Welcome Cute Pass for the ferry and the island view bus as well. The landscape was awesome. It's very well-preserved and organized. The view from this spot and the bizarre statue are worthy to visit even though it's pretty hard to get access to here."

"At least 2 cats are residents at the carpark because i was there 2 times and i met different ones lol"

"Nothing much to see except the seemingly random statue and some empty field"
