Reviews Summary

Mount Kano Kanozan is a charming, peaceful mountain offering beautiful natural scenery and spiritual sites like Jinnoji Temple. Visitors praise the stunning views from the Tsukumoya Valley Observatory and other overlooks, though the summit itself is forested. Some find the presence of a golf course and the potentially muddy, leech-prone trails detract from the experience.

"Really cute small mountain. But used by a golf that ruin everything."

Blue comestrue

"Take a bus from JR Sanukimachi Station to Jinnoji Temple, and from there it takes about 30 minutes to reach the summit. Jinnoji Temple is the oldest temple in the Kanto region. It is also home to Shiratori Shrine, and although it has the atmosphere of a sacred mountain, it is also a major tourist destination with Mother Farm and a golf course. The highlight is the view of the mountain range from the Tsukumo Valley Observatory."

馬渕英貴

"The summit is located in a forest surrounded by the Kanoyama Country Club. There is no view from the summit, but there is a stone monument of Shiratori Shrine. The view is better from Tsukumoya Observatory Park. You can climb to the summit from Shiratori Shrine. The road coming up from Sanuki-cho is itself surrounded by mountains, so there is no view. On the road to Mother Farm from the junction between Mother Farm and Jinnoji Temple, there is a spot on the way where you can see the plains, Tokyo Bay, the Aqua Line, and Kanagawa from the mountain, and it is a sight worth seeing."
