Reviews Summary

Grandeco Snow Resort is a highly recommended, often underestimated destination offering a perfect blend of beginner-friendly slopes, stunning scenery, and excellent value. Visitors praise its well-maintained runs, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a hidden paradise for winter enthusiasts. While some may find the English communication limited, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting its charm as a less crowded alternative to more popular resorts.

"Truly a hidden paradise. If this is discovered by tourists for sure this will be popular in no time like the ones in Niseko and Myoko Kogen which are more popular.

The resort is a haven for winter enthusiasts, offering a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

The slopes were well-maintained and varied, catering to all skill levels—from gentle beginner runs to thrilling black diamond trails. The lift system was efficient, with minimal wait times, even during peak hours.

My family had a lesson from a very friendly instructor , although not very well spoken in English was very kind, patient and knowledgeable.

The gondola ride was breathtaking and 1 day pass is only 2000Y. The ski lift passes are also value for money. It has slopes for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Has restaurant at the top and at the base.

All staff are very friendly and powdered snow is like no other. It also has a great kids fun area and guests from en resort hotel can get a free pickup ride to and from the resort.

Only 30mins away from Inawashiro Hotel and the resort offers public bus from both Inawashiro Station and Koriyama station for a minimal fee. for those who drive, it has ample parking space- thus if you have your own suit and gear, all u need to worry is to buy a 1day pass for a small fee with discounts for different age categories.

The resort itself is stunning, nestled amidst breathtaking mountain scenery. The cozy lodges provided the perfect retreat after a long day on the slopes, with roaring fireplaces and panoramic views of the snow-covered peaks. The on-site restaurants offered delicious food, with hearty meals and gourmet hot chocolate that hit the spot after the cold."

"Superb spot, visited in Feb 25. I had no experience of snowboarding and no Japanese either, the staff were patient and friendly while we translated what we needed and the instructors were patient and encouraging throughout the lessons. Highly recommend."
