"Visited on 6th November. The peak was past. Leaves started falling but the colours were still stunning. Parking lot was available 0.5km away from the observation bridge."
Martlet
"Really lovely little valley with a river winding through. Based on pictures, it seems like it would be lovely in autumn, but late summer was gorgeous too! The current is quite strong, so you shouldn’t swim, but it feels nice to put your feet in the cold water and relax for a few minutes.
Be aware that it's about a 10 minute walk from the rest house and most of that is stairs. So coming back up will be quite the leg/lung workout. Be especially careful on the last few steps and the rocks when you get down to the river."
Rachel Boatwright
"Not a walk in the park to get down to the valley. The last stretch to the river was challenging and needed caution. Otherwise, we seem to be late in catching the fall colours."
