"combined with a walk on the beach located directly next to this charming shrine can make for a fine couple of hours (or a day if you visit the museum which is highly recommend doing). The ocean breeze can be felt from within the temple grounds and the priestess is friendly and all are dressed in formal attire. if you are staying in the Komatsu area I would highly recommend paying a visit for a laid back afternoon this is as good a spot as any there is no entrance fee on top of that! It is also near Natadera Temple to create the perfect daytrip from Komatsu Station include both Atakasumiyoshi Shrine and Natadera Temple and I promise you won't regret it."
