Greetings from Kure, Japan

When I went to Japan I had time to visit either this museum or Mikasa. I picked Mikasa for obvious reasons, but I really did want to see this.

While English information is limited, the overall experience is highly satisfying and recommended for anyone visiting Kure.

"There is no English information on the boat tour. But, not necessary when enjoying sightseeing the JMSDF Ships."

Rasseru S

"Special experience to view warships from a boat. Great close-up view of the newest JDR ships with detailed explaination from the guide."

"We had an exciting cruise experience, traveling with the sea breeze!

As we sailed through the Seto Inland Sea, we were thrilled to see Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force vessels, including submarines and escort ships, up close. Feeling the breeze from the open deck and listening to the qualified guide's detailed commentary, we learned a lot about the naval world, which was new to us.

This time, we boarded a special sunset cruise. My son and I gazed out at the port of Kure bathed in the setting sun, and witnessed the moment when the Self-Defense Force ship's 16-barred flag was lowered and the national anthem "Kimigayo" (national anthem) was played on a trumpet. It was like something out of a movie, and it gave me goosebumps.

The price was surprisingly low at 1,700 yen for adults and 500 yen for children, and the quality was truly amazing. It was an impressive sightseeing cruise that anyone visiting Kure should definitely experience.

We'll definitely take it again if we come again!"
