"Nice park, nice flowers, with a special camellia festival in March"
Benjamin Velu
"As a camellia garden, there are many varieties and a long viewing period, so I often visit during flowering season.
January 2025
It's still too early to view the camellias, but this time I visited for a walk.
The paths within the garden are flat, so you can walk while looking up at the trees, and the gentle slopes make for some light exercise.
Plum blossoms begin to bloom in February, followed by camellias, and the azaleas that bloom from around the end of March through April and May are also beautiful.
April 2025
Perhaps the azaleas bloomed earlier than usual, as about 30% of the flowers had withered.
I also saw a rare butterfly flying around, so I took a picture and used Google Lens to identify it as a red copper butterfly. 🙌"
