"I accessed this mountain by walking from the nearby Tado Station. There are several routes one can take for climbing this depending on their physical fitness. I used the "healthy legs course (健脚コ-ス)" whose trailhead is adjacent to the Atago Shrine. It was marked with 10 stations so it gave a good indicator on the progress. It was a fairly basic hike with no dangerous areas but requires some stamina. If you prefer paved roads there is also another route which you can take. Even cars can go all the way up to the top. I came down using the paved trail. I noticed a snake near the Sanjo Park so beware of the surroundings. There is a newly installed toilet near the summit."

"It is the most suitable place, the mountain with a wonderful view to look at the Nagoya city. Paved road, I were able to walk easily. Look forward to the magnificent scenery which Nobi plains and Kiso River and Nagara River.
I wanted to look at the Nagoya city. For that I took binoculars. I looked at Nagoya very from far away. A building in front of Nagoya Station looked very small.I had a very nice time.
But, I have discovered it. There was a graffiti to the monument of the observatory. It is mischief of somebody. It was a sick thing. One week ago..."
