"This was my second time renting from Kimono Rental Wargo (by the Kyoto station) and it is just alwayd a super great experience! Last summer I rented a summer yukata with my boyfriend (couples set) and this year I got to wear a more modern Hakama Kimono set with a friend! The quality of kimono is excellent and the options to choose from are plentiful — you are sure to find something you like.
They will dress you with so much care and will love to chat with you if you want to! Will be sure to come again!"

"I had an amazing kimono experience here! I didn’t have a reservation and just walked in that morning. The staff were incredibly kind and managed to fit me in for both a kimono session and a photographer on the same day.
For the photoshoot, I chose a homongi instead of a yukata—mainly for aesthetic purposes. But if you’re planning to walk around, I’d recommend a yukata instead. The homongi has multiple layers and can be quite warm, especially in summer.
The staff who helped me dress and style my hair were extremely professional and polite. I also enjoyed chatting with them while they worked their magic.
I did a 30-minute in-store session and a 30-minute location shoot, which was the perfect combo for a hot summer day. The photographer was friendly, professional, and guided us through the poses—my husband and I are notoriously awkward in front of the camera 😂. Despite that, we ended up with so many great shots!
The store itself is spacious and offers a wide variety of yukata and kimono options. I highly recommend this place!"

"The staff here are so friendly! We don’t want to deal with the summer heat, so we stayed in the mall to use their self photography service too! AC in the mall! Overall a great experience to try out yukata for the first time. Thanks for your great services!"
