Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Yahashira Cemetery for its stunning natural beauty, especially during cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons, describing it as a dreamlike park. The spacious grounds and community feel, where locals engage in recreation, are also highlighted. However, some visitors have experienced issues with flower theft from graves, indicating a need for awareness and respect.

"I built the graves of my parents here. It is a type of wall cemetery, and is a corner with a unified look and a good view. In the square next to the communal graves, you can spread out your lunch or play badminton or handkerchief drop, and locals come here for recreational activities. It is as beautiful as a dream during the cherry blossom season. 🌸

"There is a grave (though I don't reside there), so I clean it and pray there from time to time.
I arrived late yesterday and wasn't able to weed or clean the grave, so I offered the flowers I had brought with me, lit incense, and prayed. When I returned the following afternoon, I was shocked to find that the flowers had been stolen!
I mentioned this to a landscaper who was working nearby, and he was surprised to say that in the old days, there were bad guys who would steal flowers at night and sell them again the next day.
I had no choice but to weed and clear the branches, wash the gravestone, sprinkle salt to kill the weeds, offer tea and fruit, light incense, and pray, praying, "May the flower thief be punished.""

"I visited to visit the graves, and the grounds are spacious and pleasant. In particular, during the autumn foliage season, the ginkgo and Chinese tallow trees turn vibrant colors, making it feel like I was in a large park rather than a cemetery, and I was able to enjoy the spectacular scenery."
