What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Matsumoto Performing Arts Centre for its beautiful and unique architecture, particularly the distinctive curving design and the main staircase, which is a popular photo spot. The venue is noted for its clean facilities, first-class lighting and sound, and accommodating staff. However, some find the performance hall seating uncomfortable due to a lack of cushioning, and one reviewer felt the performance room size was inadequate for larger productions.
"A quiet place for watching dramas or performance from various artists over the country. The main stair is quite characteristic and worth a photo taking. The 2nd floor has a quiet lounge with desks for self learning or working. There is water machine available as well."

"I came here to watch my daughter in her school's Christmas show. The show was wonderful and my daughter did an impressive job. As for the center, the room where the show was held is smaller than it should be. The building and the waiting area are huge, which they should have allocated to where the performances are held. It was big enough for the plays that my daughter's school put on, but the access to the performance room would be more problematic for larger performances. Also, my wife complained about the seats were too uncomfortable ("no cushion")."
