"A beautiful shore and a nice view at every season. Went there in autumn and now in winter.
To get to the Island Fukurajima via the red bridge you pay a fee of 200¥. The island is like a national park for the animals. So I think it’s absolutely ok to pay this small amount.
I would love to come a again maybe in spring.
From Sendai you reach it easily by train. Very convenient."

"Definitely worth the visit. Just 30 mins by JR train from Sendai train station. Beautiful view of small island along the shore."
