What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Nakameguro Park is highly praised for its stunning cherry blossoms along the Meguro River, offering a picturesque setting for photography and leisurely strolls. Visitors appreciate the trendy neighborhood vibe with its stylish cafes and shops. However, the park can become extremely crowded during peak sakura season, especially on weekends, sometimes impacting the visitor experience.
"This place is a good Instagram spot for cherry blossom photography. I visited Tokyo in end March, at the beginning of the cherry blossom (Sakura) season, and planned to stop by this place hoping to get a few good shots of the flowering trees, but alas, I came during the weekend. The whole park was crowded with both locals and tourists all looking to get a few good shots of the flowering trees! There were traffic personnel on-site ushering the flow of the crowd, and we were not permitted to even stop for a few minutes beside the canal to snap a few photos. I ended up having to come back another day during the weekdays when it is less crowded. There is a shopping district nearby with bars and restaurants, and a shopping mall nearby (within walking distance)."

"Be awed by the cherry blossom that bloom stretching across more than 3km along Meguro River. Look up to enjoy the bloom or even taking a deep breath enjoying the river flow effortlessly. Various sizes of cherry blossom trees seemed to convey to all that it’s time to bloom after all the fluctuations in temperature."

"Lovely sakura trees, not crowded in mid-april (near the end of the bloom here) lots of space for walking and taking photos"
