The terrace area itself is not very large, but a lot of thought has been put into the layout. There are plenty of spots to relax and many photo opportunities, with views of the sea on one side and the five lakes on the other. The rainbow-coloured umbrellas available for use add a cheerful touch to the scenery.
At the top, there are two cosy cafés serving dessert and snacks, while the lower station has a fairly spacious souvenir shop and a restaurant.
We visited on a Tuesday morning in mid-July and the nearest main parking lot had plenty of space. The whole place was peaceful and not crowded at all."

"Beautiful views from the top of Mount Baijo. The terrace is beautifully constructed an laid out, with many places to sit and enjoy the view. There's a great cafe at the bottom with food, and another one at the top with drinks and snacks. We enjoyed a free foot bath at the top. Access is via funicular railway or chairlift, both great fun!"

"A little out of the way and we found it by chance, just amazing place with stunning views. Worth every second and every yen. We were lucky to be travelling in September so it wasn't crowded but I can imagine at peeks season you would be waiting in line a bit."
