What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Minakami Hodaigi for its beginner-friendly slopes, stunning mountain views, and affordable pricing, making it a great value for a snow day. While convenient for learning, its location requires careful planning, ideally with private transport. Some advanced skiers might find the top slopes challenging.
"I visited this ski resort with my fiancée in January 2025. As a beginner in snowboarding, I found this ski resort to be very beginner-friendly with great views and not too crowded. You can rent a full set of equipment at the rental store. There are two "green" tracks which are suitable for beginners to learn skiing or snowboarding. However, the location is not very convenient, so it's better to come here by private car."

"It's a simple and relatively affordable ski resort. There is something for everyone here.
One word of caution, if you are somewhere in between beginner and intermediate level of skiing. Course no. 10 that starts from the very top has an expert level slope at start. So ride the no. 9 lift only if you are confident enough about your technique.
If you are sure, then it's a nice place up top, as views from up top are mesmerizing, and so are the slopes."

"Excellent place of all type skiers and skaters. Restaurant had many options. Many ski courses with different steep angles ate there. 8.00 to 4.00 pm. Time just flies"
