Originally, it was built in 700s(Nara-era), and rebuilt in 1854(late period of Edo-era).
Now it is usually calm and quiet place, but it gets crowded in the autumn because of red leaves. Maybe the parking must be full.
It is difficult to arrive here by public transport, but it is easy to ride a bike in this new road named GREEN LINE.
