"Very nice and quiet place to visit for both day and night time. Great view from the tip of the southern point of Boso Peninsula. The lighthouse is one of the oldest ones in Japan."

"Great place to walk around. On the east side, by the museum amid the pines, is a well kempt grassy area ideal for picnics. Playground equipment is here too, for children. Benches are spaced along the path encircling the lighthouse. Parking areas are plentiful along the coast road to the east. The parking lot by the rotary (next to the restroom) fills early on weekends and holidays. There are public restrooms inside the park. Note that the ocean to the south is the Philippine Sea (not the Pacific)."

Steve Benfey (ベンフィ スティブン)

"In winter there are few people and so quiet. Nice place to calm down your self."
