"For a company that has a rich and definitive history in the history of photo making the museum is quite disappointing: the museum is simply a space the size of a JR station convenience store with 3 walls of cabinets of camera with some information board. At this moment they also have a special exhibition on the motion work of Eaeward Muybridges, but it's simply one wall full of framed photos.
Sure the musuem covers the chronological development of photo history, but with the limited scale of the museum, one might as well go into a vintage camera shop and look through a cabinet with the same experience.
If Fujifilm cares, a detailed review their own rich history in film technology, fujinon lens and cameras could've easily fill a full floor.
Unless you want to visit the showroom nearby, which does show the companys' current models, or happens to be in roppogi, the museum is not worth making a detour in your itinerary. The Nikon Museum in nishi-oi or the Tokyo museum of photography are much better visit if you are a fan of photography or photographic equipment."
