What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the exceptional quality and beauty of the artisanal crafts at Japan Traditional Crafts Aoyama Square, often describing it as a museum-like experience. While many pieces are expensive, reflecting superior craftsmanship, there are also more affordable options. The store is highly recommended for unique gifts and a deep appreciation of Japanese artistry.
"I am so glad I came here! This is probably the best place to buy the highest quality selection of beautiful artisanal crafts in Tokyo! However, be aware that this is an expensive shop. The majority of the items were each above ¥10,000. That being said, because each piece is unique, the average price of what is available might vary greatly depending on what the artists produce. The entire store was like a museum where you could touch things! That said, I found a small selection of beautiful pieces under ¥10,000. I really wish I could’ve bought the entire store!
Here is my loot. I have no buyer's remorse. I only wish I could go back and have bought more. (The gorgeous lacquerware tray was ¥22,000. The rest range from ¥4500-¥7000.)"

It had such beautiful pieces that we liked and ended up finishing our souvenir shopping. I would highly recommend it while in Tokyo."
