What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the magical, peaceful atmosphere of the Bise Fukugi Tree Road, often describing it as a beautiful natural tunnel. The charm of the traditional village, combined with the option to rent bikes or enjoy ox-cart rides, makes for a delightful experience. Some find the road a bit repetitive if only walking, but the nearby ocean views and local cafes are consistently praised.
"This is a great area to stroll around and just look at the scenery. You can rent bicycles at the very beginning, which is nice but some of the paths within do not allow bicycles. When you walk down the main road there are several roads to the left and right to explore. There are many little shops and cafes to discover, as well as yard decor and artwork to admire. If you are on a bicycle you may miss something. When you get to the end you can make your way back to the beginning along the water. Very beautiful views! We parked in a paid parking lot up the street from the location."

"Fun outing for a family. It is a shady area to walk and there are a few cute places to sit down and eat. It can get crowded at times, so plan accordingly if you want to ride bikes."

"Really nice walk if you a need a bit of tree away and close to the city.
It was nice and charming to walk through the small paths, and bonus as it is by the water. Locals were really nice to us and willing to help.
Please don't forget your mosquito repellent."
