"A town buried by water. History goes that citizens of a town were displaced and funded to move to a higher elevation by the government. The government took decades to build the dam and at one point nearly abandoned the project.
Other than that sad story, it’s an absolutely beautiful place and one of intuiting historic importance to visit.
- Toilet Note - There’s only one toilet available to the public at the dam observatory.
- Lunch Note - there’s a couple of noodle restaurants that have some deliciously traditional meals throughout the day. There’s also a park and trampolines behind these restaurants for kids to play."
