What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Enakyo Wonderland is cherished for its unique, nostalgic charm and old-fashioned atmosphere, reminiscent of the 1970s. Visitors appreciate the vintage rides, especially the carousel, and the warm, elderly staff. While it lacks modern updates and some attractions may be closed, it's a delightful spot for families with young children seeking a simpler, heartwarming amusement park experience.
"A charming, old-fashioned amusement park that seems to have been frozen in time—stepping in feels like stepping back into a more innocent era. There’s a certain nostalgic magic to the place, hinting that it must have once been quite special. Though it has clearly aged and lacks recent renovations, its vintage atmosphere carries a unique charm.
Admission is 1,000 yen, and each ride comes at an additional cost, ranging between 300 and 600 yen. According to the staff, visitors are allowed to use the water play areas for bathing. However, when we visited in early April, these areas were still closed for the season—though the full entrance fee was still required.
The highlight of the park is undoubtedly the beautifully aged carousel, a true gem that still spins with joy. The staff, all elderly volunteers, were exceptionally warm and kind, adding to the park’s heartwarming feel. The park caters well to children of all ages, and even our two-year-old daughter had plenty to enjoy.
All in all, it’s a sweet place for a short visit if you’re already nearby—but not quite worth a special trip on its own."

"Old school theme park.. Rustic! Set in the 1970s but fantastic!"

"This is an old amusement park. It has an old-fashioned feel overall, but I think it's a good place for small children to play. It may not be enough for middle school students and older children. I went with my 3-year-old grandson, and he was very happy. It may be a good idea to bring your own food and drinks."
