"Great beach"
米奇先生
"Uppama Beach is located right in front of the Resort Hotel Bel Paraiso in Nakijin Village.
The name of the beach, Uppama, means "big beach" in Okinawa dialect. As the name suggests, it is a vast beach with dazzling white sand that stretches for over 1 kilometer! The view of the ocean, known as "Nakijin Blue," is a spectacular sight even without anything special.
On a clear day, you can see the Izena Peninsula and Iheya Island across the sea, and the previously introduced Kouri Beach and Kouri Bridge are nearby. Since the beach is managed by a hotel, there are plenty of rental services such as parasols and beach chairs.
Of course, you can enjoy barbecues on the beach, but there are also plenty of marine sports such as snorkeling and banana boats. Uppama (Ohama) is a beach where you can enjoy marine leisure activities of your choice to the fullest."
