"If you're interested in taking a walk through the amazing nature while learning something new about the history of the human race in Okinawa, this attraction is for you. It does have a couple of drawbacks though. You have to book entry, either online or by phone. The tour is with only a guide and he guides in Japanese, but don't despair as tourists you will get an outline of what the guide says in English. It is nice that the guide personally greets all visitors by name at the beginning of the tour. Afterwards, there is a beautiful walk with remnants of the ancient history of the place, including extraordinary natural phenomena. It is very nice, again I recommend a visit for sure."

"Must make reservation beforehand. Website didn't work at first but came back online in the evening. Only reservation, pay when you get there. No English speaking guide but they give you pages to read and the guide tells you which sections throughout the tour. Went at 4pm, bit dark as it's a valley. Would recommend an earlier time. They give you tea in a metal bottle and also mosquito repellant to apply. Promptly starts at allocated time slot, which is every twenty minutes. Cafe at start with unlimited juices for 500 yen a mug."
