Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the fantastic snow, great value, and authentic Japanese ski experience, often comparing it favorably to Western resorts. The friendly, English-speaking staff and short lift lines are major highlights. While some on-slope dining can be pricey and a few traverses might challenge beginners, the overall experience is highly positive, especially with the added bonus of free town onsen.

"Nice, kids' friendly resort. Not too many barless chair lifts. There are 2 quite important for transferring. The rest was good. Reasonable price for an adult + kid discounted ticket. JPY 5600. Bit pricey food on the slopes."

Tomek Fiedorowicz

"What a fabulous ski resort. Great value. Authentic Japanese experience fantastic snow. Good ski lifts. I could only gripe is that there are a few traverses for the uninitiated. But once you get the hang of it. Itโ€™s a fabulous place. Compared to Aus. NZ. USA. Itโ€™s amazing value for money. There are literally dozens of places for lunch. The restaurants and cafes are friendly. And the lines are short or non existent. I cannot wait to go back. Ohh did I mention the town has free onsen which are also brilliant."

JeanClaude Branch

"Staff for ski lessons for children and adults really helpful and nice. Small jumping castle and hill for kids."
