What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Tambara Ski Park for its enjoyable sledding and beautiful summer lavender fields. The budget-friendly ski ticket hack is a major highlight for cost-conscious skiers. However, the park can get quite crowded, and access is noted as being somewhat difficult due to its mountain location.
"This was the last stop of our Gunma tour last February so we had just a little time to spend here. This was a fun snow resort, I really loved the sledding experience. I would love to come back if the opportunity allows."

"Wonderful snow and slopes, well maintained, Almost all natural snow, Far on the mountain so access is difficult. Gets very crowded because of popularity."

"Really nice runs for the novice/beginners with a few black runs. So here's the trick though...
Buy a one way ticket (500¥) which will get you on the lift to the very top of the mountain (there's a midway lift that will take you all the way up after you get off the initial lift). Then, take the green or red runs to the halfway portion of the mountain (that second lift I was just talking about). There's no one there checking tickets so you can just keep going up to the top and back to the midway point over and over. That run to the midway point is decent and long enough with different routes so you don't get bored and the lift back to the top each time is free! We only paid 500¥ and went up on the lift from the midway point to the top like 7 or 8 times. Only paid 500¥ for the entire day! Can't beat it. 1000¥ parking though. 😉"
