"This is the station where you can rent a bike to ride on the Kibi Plain using the Kibiji Cycling Road (one of the 100 Best Roads in Japan). The rental shop is right next to the station and you won’t miss it. The shop owners (a couple of elderly) will show you the path using a stack of photos. In general, just follow the sign. However, I would suggest you take pictures of the instructions. Some of the signs are easily missed.

"It is also an unmanned station, and you can use IC transportation cards or use ticket machines. However, it is better than Kibitsu Station. There is a small waiting area. If you arrive at the station early, you have the opportunity to sit here and rest for a while. However, there are not many seats, but there are many tourists, so most tourists still have to stand and wait for the bus."
