"Lounge Plus located on the 19th floor of the Marriott Hotel was having a joint promotion with Fukujuen of Kyoto for an Uji Tea Afternoon Tea from May 1 to June 30. The presentation of the Savory menu and Dessert menu were exquisite and almost too pretty to eat. Many of the items had Uji Matcha in them. They were all super delicious. You start the afternoon tea with a palate cleanser and a cup of chilled refreshing green tea. I would recommend requesting a window seat as you get a panoramic view of the Osaka skyline. Reservations are recommended."

The bread and pastry section stood out with its well-curated assortment of freshly baked goods. What truly amazed me, however, was the traditional Japanese breakfast selection, featuring a delightful array of side dishes and a comforting bowl of miso soup—a perfect way to immerse oneself in Japanese culinary culture.
The service was impeccable, with staff attentive to every detail, ensuring a pleasant and seamless experience.
The only downside was the lack of age restrictions for younger children in the lounge. Unfortunately, some were running around and coughing, which detracted slightly from the otherwise tranquil ambiance. It would be ideal if the hotel could consider setting age guidelines or a family-specific section to maintain the lounge’s sophisticated atmosphere.

"It's disappointing for an overpriced hotel. Check-in at 1445 wasn't busy, but it still took 20 mins. Offered a different room on a lower floor with a king bed, not twin beds as reserved. Lobby cluttered with bags. No assistance with bags. The Marriot name only gets you so far."
