Reviews Summary

Expo 2025 Osaka is currently plagued by severe overcrowding, disorganization, and excessively long wait times, leading many visitors to describe it as a 'disaster' and a 'shameful money grab.' Organizers are criticized for overselling tickets without offering refunds, and basic amenities like water are scarce. Despite the ambitious theme, the execution has left many deeply disappointed.

"Absolute disaster — avoid at all costs.

Even if you travel 24 hours across the world to see this event, you’ll start in overcrowded packed subway the. you’ll most likely end up stuck in endless lines outside, under extreme heat. And this was on a weekday — imagine the weekend, it must be absolute hell.

The organizers openly admit they are forcing 200,000 visitors a day into a site that can realistically hold maybe a quarter of that. They oversell tickets, then refuse refunds, even if you never make it inside. The so-called “lottery system” for pavilions is meaningless; spots are so limited that regular visitors stand no chance.

What should have been a world-class showcase is instead a shameful money grab. This is the complete opposite of the Japan known for fairness and organization.

Don’t reserve. Don’t go. Don’t waste your money or your time. I sincerely hope the Universal Expo Committee investigates this disgrace."

Akram El Harraqui

"Don’t come. go somewhere else Too crowded Queuing in the sun for hours to get checked in . Wait 4 hours lines each one .Veryyy Bad organized I don’t lie!"
