"This is a beautiful hotel with great service. The entrance was a little difficult to find but as we came in with our luggage to check in we were immediately greeted by staff who took our bags and led us to the front desk. Check in was super easy and staff helped carry our luggage to our room and also showed us how to operate the lights and curtains and showed us the amenities in the room. We had a great view from the 26th floor and the staff pointed out the Yodo River from our window. We could still hear some traffic from the street but it wasn’t disruptive.
The room was very spacious with a large bathroom that had both a shower and a bath tub. The shower was a little small but still usable. They separate had shampoo, conditioner, and skincare items for men and women. This hotel also offered luggage forwarding service. It was about ¥11,400 for four large rolling suitcases."

"Friendly staff and a cool experience. This hotel is technically 5 star but is pretty dated now (has 1980s vibes). But it was cool to stay in a place that had some real character (check out the automatic curtains!). The location is great and the staff and amazing. We stayed on the 26th floor and had a great view too. Would recommended."

"Overall the hotel was great, from the smooth check-in where a member of staff lead us to our room and gave a run down of the room and its remote controls, to its impeccable over the phone and in person service, every request was responded with acknowledgment and haste.
The hotel lobby and its restaurant floor was very luxurious and well decorated, definitely worth taking a photo of that fountain. The rooms were also very nice and spacious with such a breathtaking view of osaka. Comfortable beds, pillows and a big bathroom, what else would you need? Yet they still provide more with daily newspapers (which i really liked), unlimited waterbottles and selfless staff.
The location was very good, many konbinis around as well as laundrettes being about a 5 minute walk away. The subway stations were also conveniently very closeby, smaller stations were very close but the big osaka-umeda station which is a very major station where you can go directly to anywhere especially to day trips such as Kyoto or Nara was only a short 4-5 minute walk away.
The one only downside is the hotel isn’t direct access to the street, you must go through a small, mostly quiet mall and go up an elevator or escalator to get to the hotel lobby to then access the main elevator to get to your hotel room. However I didnt find it to be too much of an issue since once again it was a very quiet mall with not much shops at all as well as the mall elevator always being empty and available.
Another thing to mention is that at night (i think 10pm or 12am) the mall would close so you would lose elevator access to the hotel lobby. In this case you would have to go around the back of the hotel and walk up their car driveway road which leads to the front of the hotel. However i must warn that the road up is very steep so elderly, people with mobility issues or those in wheelchairs will find it hard to get up. Im not sure if there was an alternative route or elevator but i did not notice one.
Overall i was very pleased with my stay and would definitely consider staying at the Hotel Hankyu International again."
