What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho offers a unique, retro-themed dining experience with a wide variety of Japanese street food, especially Osaka specialties. While many enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere and convenience, some reviews mention high prices and inconsistent food quality, with certain dishes receiving criticism.
"The Pork Katsu Curry Don is a comforting and flavorful dish that combines crispy, golden-brown pork cutlet (katsu) with rich, savory curry sauce, all served over a bed of steamed rice. The contrast between the crunchy exterior of the katsu and the tender, juicy pork inside is perfectly complemented by the thick, aromatic curry, which is slightly sweet and mildly spiced. The dish is hearty, satisfying, and deeply umami, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors. It’s a must-try for anyone exploring it."

"Don't eat at this place. The roast beef was served cold and old (dried out). The pancake (okonomiyaki) was so floury and hardly any veggies. Not crunchy, too thick.
This place inside sells fake Cremia as well."

"A lot of the stores were closed when we were here on a Thursday around lunch time. It's a cute strip inside Tempozan Harbor Village. The prices are also very expensive compared to the food court just next to it but also compared to restaurants outside. Nice to visit but wouldn't recommend eating here unless you enjoy the convenience and novelty of the place."
