What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Nintendo Store Osaka is a highly anticipated destination, praised for its extensive and exclusive merchandise, particularly for Mario and Zelda fans. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the immersive atmosphere. However, some find it to be smaller than expected and note that much of the merchandise is also available in Kyoto and Tokyo stores. Crowd management can be an issue during peak times.
"We decided to visit the Nintendo store in Osaka, as each location offers different merchandise. It was extremely busy and quite chaotic outside the store, since it’s located next to the Pokémon and One Piece stores. When the mall opens, people rush in, all trying to be the first to enter.
To manage the crowds, the staff hands out numbered cards. When it’s your time slot, you’re allowed to go inside.
The store itself is very large and offers a wide variety of merchandise. I really enjoyed shopping there. If you have a Nintendo account, you can even earn points at the register after paying."

"This may be the most underwhelming Nintendo store of all Japan I been to. The smallest one probably and the most mall like one. All the stuff they sell here they also kind of sell in Kyoto and Tokyo. I’d say if you have limited time and are planning on going to the other cities, this can be a miss.
We did play the Nintendo 2 trial Mario kart, which was cool and the staff are super friendly and excited for you but that’s about it."

"So much fun merch! Nintendo Osaka had way more than Kyoto. U really need some time there to look through everything. The staff was very nice. Recommend to go there during the week day so it's not too crowded. This was the best nintendo store I went to. Better than Kyoto and Tokyo. The other ones were good too, just this one had more merch, so it was more fun to be at."
