Onitsuka Tiger Shinsaibashi is a highly popular destination, often characterized by long queues and crowded conditions. However, visitors consistently praise the exceptional customer service provided by the staff, who are noted for their English proficiency and helpfulness. The store offers a wide selection of iconic and limited edition sneakers at competitive prices, especially with tax-free shopping benefits.
"My wife and I came to Osaka three times this year and were always reluctant to come into the store since it was always packed. However we decided to come in last week and we were so glad we did. We had an amazing pleasant experience with the most wonderful sale associate, Minamiya. She was exceptionally warm and attentive. She went above and beyond to provide us a wonderful customer service. Also, her English was exceptionally fluent. Thanks to Minamiya, my wife and I now have a matching pair of Tiger sneakers. Minamiya is definitely a keeper."

"Rating 4-stars as organizing the crowd could be a lot better, but this cannot be fully blamed on the staff as the store itself is pretty small and the popularity of Onitsuka Tiger shoes has exploded recently.
I would like to shout out "Rena" for helping me out greatly. I hope I spelled it right as her name tag only said staff.
I found the Mexico 66 to be long so she suggested trying the Mexico 66 SD as the material change could make a difference. The store did not carry my size for the Mexico 66 SD so she called a nearby store in Namba and reserved it for me there!
Even when the store was packed, she made sure I was well taken care of and not forgotten. She spoke perfect English as well.
I recommend looking out for her if you plan on visiting this location!"

"This place is absolute madness with the number of greedy, impatient customers, and the staff that works here are SAINTS for dealing with the waves of humanity that flows through this place.
Besides being pushed and rammed by other customers, I got exactly what I wanted: Mexico 66 SD’s. Had to go to the second floor for them, where the crowd was more dense and proportionately rude, but the gentleman who helped me was quick with returning with the size I needed, and helped me immediately after I tried them on and decided to purchase.
I navigated my way back downstairs where three groups decided to jump the line and head right to the register where the staff was already checking someone out (there were two checkout “stations” and the queue was behind the right-most, but some entitled folks decided they’d jump to the left-most station. One staff was able to get two of the three groups to get to the back of the line, but two older ladies bullied their way into getting what they wanted and stayed put).
Checking out itself, besides the rude entitled customers, was a seamless experience. And the best part? The same Mexico 66 SD’s that I got here at the Osaka branch were only ¥17,000, and the same model were ¥33,000 at the Onitsuka Tiger in Tokyo (the branch closest to Tokyo Station).
10/10 customer service.
0/10 customers."
