"I wish I could give them a minus score as 1/5 feels too generous. I don’t usually leave long negative reviews, but my experience at Ragtag in Shinsaibashisuji, Osaka, was so disappointing that I feel other customers should be aware.
I visited the store on the morning of Wednesday 12 November specifically to purchase a pair of overalls. A staff member told me they could order the item from one of their Tokyo stores and that it would arrive by Saturday 15 November. I even offered my hotel phone number or email so they could contact me if anything changed, but I was told this was not necessary.
Trusting this information, I planned my weekend around picking up the overalls. On the 15th, my family and I walked 45 minutes to the store with two young children, which made the trip even more exhausting and difficult. When we arrived, I was told very casually that the overalls had never been ordered at all. There was no explanation provided, no real apology, and no sense of responsibility for the error. After spending almost an hour in the store trying to understand what happened, we then walked another 45 minutes back to our hotel. In total, their mistake cost us 2.5 hours of our day, along with unnecessary stress since we had to manage everything while caring for two young kids.
To make matters worse, the only solution I was offered was to purchase the overalls from the global Ragtag website and have them shipped to Australia for ¥8,500 instead of the ¥2,900 price in store. I was told they even asked the CEO and that there was absolutely nothing they could do to help with the price difference. In other words, after their mistake wasted our time and caused significant inconvenience, I was told my only option was to pay almost three times the original price for the exact same item still sitting in the Tokyo store. What an amazing deal for me.
To my knowledge, there was no attempt to contact the Tokyo store, no effort to correct the situation, and no reasonable alternative offered. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and customer care was extremely disappointing. Osaka usually delivers excellent service, which makes this experience stand out for all the wrong reasons.
Based on this visit, I cannot recommend this store. The incompetence and slowness of the staff and the lack of any accountability was appalling. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their processes so that future customers, especially families traveling with young children, do not have the same experience.

"This is great place to go if you're seeking for secondhand, branded goods. There are more options for clothing for men and women in this store. It's well organized and clean. Also very helpful is the staff. Sadly, there aren't many options for bags there."
