Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Omori Nori Museum for its free admission and engaging, hands-on exhibits that are fun for all ages. The beautiful Tokyo Bay views from the rooftop and the adjacent park make it a great spot for a relaxing day out. While the information is primarily in Japanese, the interactive nature of the displays ensures an enjoyable experience.
"Free yet well-designed museum with a great view of Tokyo Bay from the rooftop! In the first floor, we’re welcomed with the video played on screen and the audio from nori-farmer mannequin plus his boat displayed in the center. The library also attracted my kid to read all-books-about-nori and play puzzles. In the second floor, we could see some real tools for growing nori in the sea and photo gallery about old Omori city as one of large nori producers in Japan. While visiting this museum, I recommend you spare one day to enjoy the playground, beach, sea, and greens around (esp in the spring time, it becomes sakura huge garden)."

"Tiny museum but full of information. Who knew how the nori leaves are made or that they were first invented there? Many hands(and feet) -on experiments for kids and grown ups."
Diane Delobel
"Small museum with lots of information but it's only in Japanese. Has different hands on experiences. We listen to the small lecture and got to feel and touch nori (seaweed)."
