What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the absolutely stunning, unparalleled views of Lake Biwa from Biwako Terrace, calling it one of the most beautiful places they've seen. The convenient ropeway ride and family-friendly atmosphere are also highly praised. However, some find the cafes and food options pricey with long queues, and seating can be limited at peak times.
"A wonderful place I had a great time with my family. We rode the gandola for five minutes and enjoyed the snowy mountain scenery."

"From the base, I can park my car and then take the ride up to mountain top. At mountain top, you can rent gears as well. The cafe there has super long queue to get in. The ski place also has very limited seating as well. Therefore, it was extremely difficult to find a resting place to grab a coffee, much unlike many of the ski resorts in other countries that I have been to."
Michael
"I think this is the most beautiful place I have ever visited. The view at clear sky was absolutely stunning with the blue lake Biwa and the lots of green mountains. Pictures do not do it justice. It was not very crowded too and people were really nice.
And there is also a lot going on at the summit. You can eat, drink, play games, climb in a rope garden or slide with a zip line. Had a great time here and would give 6 stars if possible."
